About us

OSA Yaoundé 1 Student Chapter is dedicated to promote optics, and jobs in the field of optics in Cameroon, in partnership with OSA (Optical Society of America) and under the supervision of the Head of LAMSEBP (Laboratory of Modeling and Simulation in Engineering and Biological Physics, University of Yaoundé 1, Yaoundé, Cameroon, www.lamsebp.org ), Paul Woafo.

Launched in 2008 with 6 members, now (2010) the Chapter has 17 members, and the number is still increasing with various activities conducted throughout the years.

Usual activities

Ordinary meetings, twice a month with extraordinary sessions if needed in the LAMSEBP
